(Captain's log): I picked up a copy of Cowboy Bebop - the Movie a while back and watched it, and posted positive comments about it. Many wrote to tell me that the rest of the series (26 half-hour shows) was even better, so I eventually decided to get the first three DVDs. Once I'd watched them, I ordered the other three. They arrived a couple of days ago, and I've now watched them. It is a superb series, but also very disturbing.

I've written a commentary about it which can be found here. It is loaded with spoilers, and should not be read by anyone who has not seen the series but thinks they might want to.
