(On Screen): Newsweek has a superb article which reveals some of the unorthodox tactics which were used in the war. We all know about the major armored thrust which was sent into Baghdad (go north, turn left, and head to the airport). We also know that it inflicted huge casualties on the defenders who broke cover and made what amounted to suicide attacks against it, getting themselves slaughtered while accomplishing nothing.

According to Newsweek, some of the vehicles in that convoy were carrying loudspeakers which broadcast taunts about Arab manhood. It had been hoped that this would enrage the militants and provoke them to do exactly what they did do.

It also says that every one of the more than 100 Iraqi schools which has been searched so far has contained a weapons depot. I don't suppose that anyone cares that this is a war crime?
