20021011.1841 (Captain's log): It's interesting to note the lack of response by leaders and opinion makers (they think) around the world to yesterday's passage by Congress of authorization for war in Iraq. They're quiet. They're quiet. Nobody is saying anything. Isn't that strange?
Well, at least the Guardian didn't let me down. (I can't believe this. They actually used the term "Silenced majority". Has the Guardian started borrowing its rhetoric from Nixon?)
