(Captain's log): I just had someone write to me and tell me that my two posts from a couple of days ago were wrong in part because they were insensitive. (I don't think it will surprise anyone to learn that my correspondent was writing from an email address at an Ivy League university.)

This is who I feel sensitivity for. And that used it all up.

I've got no sensitivity to spare for our enemies, or those who tolerate our enemies in their midst, or support them financially, or for those who party in the streets when our enemies hurt us.

People who try to be sensitive in a war have a tendency to die, and to take their nations with them.
