(Captain's log): Light posting again today because I'm continuing to work on a graphic redesign for the site. Here's a new version as an HTML file. I gave up on the idea of a fixed width, and had a flash of insight which showed me how to make it dynamically resize horizontally. (Try resizing your browser window after it's loaded.) That's the good news.

The bad news is that it's going to look truly horrible on Navigator 4. There's nothing I can do about that. It's because Nav 4 is really horribly buggy. It looks fine for me with Nav 6.2 and with IE 5.5 and IE 6.0, and I have every reason to believe it will look fine with any other browser except Nav 4.

According to thecounter.com, about half of web browsing is done at a resolution of 800*600, so I'm willing to accomodate that. But only 4% use Nav 4, and in my opinion no-one should be.

Back to this new version, if you see any gross anomalies with any browser except Nav 4, I'd appreciate hearing about it.
