USS Clueless - Watch out for pickpockets!

Stardate 20020626.1536

(On Screen): I read one time that in the old days when a group of pickpockets was working a crowd, a favorite trick was for one of them to yell, "Watch out for pickpockets!" Every man in the crowd would immediately put his hand on his wallet, giving away exactly where it was.

A couple of days ago I received my fifteenth copy of the Klez virus (which, like the other fourteen I did not execute). But this time it said it was a program to protect me against the Klez virus which was going around. It said that I should run it and ignore any messages from antivirus programs, because it protected me by pretending to be the Klez virus.

A web site offers to tell me if my credit card number has been stolen. All I have to do is visit the site, type in my credit card number, and then I'll get the good news that it hasn't been.

Uh-huh. Thank you for the kind offer.
