USS Clueless - It's America's fault

Stardate 20020327.1329

(On Screen): A man in France sat through a city council meeting yesterday, and when it was over he stood up and begin to shoot at people. Over the course of several minutes he killed 8 (so far) and wounded nineteen more (some severely) before he was subdued.

His mother describes him as being mentally ill. It's tragic when this kind of thing happens, but there's really very little that can be done to prevent it.

Of course, one thing you can do is to blame America:

Rightist presidential candidate Alain Madelin called the shooting, "This American-style byproduct, we wished not to have in France."

Who is this guy?
