(On Screen): The BBC is reporting that a new case of Foot-and-mouth disease may have been discovered in Yorkshire. If so, there's going to be hell to pay.

Last time the reaction to the initial outbreak was tentative; let's hope that this time they really move. Otherwise the disease will burn through the country again and ravage the farm economy. (Not to mention the tourist industry.)
