USS Clueless - Delicious words

Stardate 20020216.1232

(Captain's log): There are words I understand when other people use them, but which do not come to me when I write. For instance, someone wrote to me and used the word "obsequious"; if I were trying to describe that concept I would have used the term "kowtow" (which isn't the same part of speech, but the sentence could be constructed around it). So in the last couple weeks I've been accumulating a list of what I'll call "delicious words". Here they are:

petulant
fatuous
trenchant
flense
pusillanimous
tedious
tawdry
deft
wretched
strident
tendentious
condescension

Yum!
