(On Screen): Iraq's Vice President says that there is no need for UN weapons inspectors to return to Iraq because Iraq is free of weapons of mass destruction. Since there's nothing to find, there's no reason to look. Well, I'm convinced.

Which brings up an interesting point: Iraq's offer to talk to the UN "without preconditions" only meant that they didn't demand any concessions first (i.e. their previous demand that sanctions be lifted before any negotiations could take place). It did not, however, mean that they had any intention of negotiating in good faith.
