20020127.1318 (On Screen): I find most advertising obnoxious, but I can recognize innovation when I see it, and the Dell campaign featuring "Steven" definitely feels different. It doesn't work for me, but I'm not the target of the campaign. Evidently it's been very successful, but it feels as if it's close to running its course.
The actual actor behind it turns out to be named Ben Curtis, and he's 21 and in college. It's evident that he's talented. I'm sure he's making out financially. I just hope that this doesn't end up type-casting him and ruining his career.
