Stardate 20011105.0934 (On Screen via long range sensors): The refrain we keep hearing from those who oppose the war seems to be "Yes, what they did to us was bad. But aren't we, in our own turn, just as evil?"
No. We are not. We truly are better than them, on an absolute scale, and our system truly is better than theirs, on an absolute scale. The world would be improved by the eradication of their system and its replacement by ours. Our system is not perfect but it's nothing like as vile as what the Taliban have. "Moral equivalence" is moral cowardice. (discussion in progress)
