Aviation Week and Space Technology Magazine said Washington had been readying a KH-11 "Keyhole" satellite with imaging resolution down to a few inches from 200 miles (360 km) out in space and could be used to track small groups of Afghans on foot and even spot their campfires. Say what? A satellite 200 miles up is going to hover over Afghanistan? That's going to be quite an orbit!
