Stardate 20010924.1639 (On Screen via long range sensors): There was a now-notorious film-clip played on CNN shortly after the bombing claiming to show Palestinians celebrating because of the WTC bombing. For a while there was a rumor going around that it was actually ten year old film, but CNN has claimed that it was actually shot when they said it was shot. But a publication in Germany has tried to trace down some of the people in it, and found a very different story. It appears that much of the film was staged and that the people in question were not really celebrating the bombing. I have no idea how reliable Stern Magazine is as a source (Andrew?); it could be the German equivalent of NewsWeek or it could be the German equivalent of the National Inquirer.
