Stardate 20010914.1643 (On Screen): Congress is opening its wallet and beginning to spend money. The budget is blown and we'll be running a deficit. Perhaps this tragic event will provide the political cover needed for everyone to acknowledge that last spring's tax cut was too deep, and that some of it needs to be rolled back. One can only hope.
