Stardate 20010914.1639 (On Screen): And in the category of non-news, we have this announcement that Pakistan has consented to let the US use its airspace for any attacks the US might decide to launch against Afghanistan -- not that they had any choice in the matter. Pakistan doesn't have the ability to defend its airspace against the US even if it wanted to, and in any case I have a suspicion that the US made them an offer they couldn't refuse. In this conflict there will be no neutrals; either you're for us or you're agin us. (And no-one who can avoid it is going to want to be against us.)
