• Venice Revisited: A new version of the Venice Web Communities System, but do this one in Go. Start by being able to re-home the original Electric Minds content. Fill in the bits I never finished in the original Venice. Extend it to add additional features for the modern Web. (In progress!)
• Python and Rust on a RPi: A better version of upiwin but with Rust replacing C as the substrate. Handle drawing and interaction on the PiTFT touchscreen. Extend this to support sound. Make it easy to create small "appliance" programs.
• Karaoke Lineup Management: This one was originally imagined in Python. A replacement for the notebook I use to manage my lineup when KJ'ing a show. Also including an external display for the "Now Singing" and "Next Up" lists. Keep stats on individual shows and singers.
• Secure Communications: An appliance-type encrypted "secure communications" system built around NNCP, with the ability to communicate over Internet, phone lines, or even by leaving USB keys at dead drops. Basic image whould be suitable for running on RPi or other small computer systems; make it a container for larger systems.
• MP3 Intake: Something to automatically tag MP3 files and route them to the right place in our "Common Music Library," which feeds Jellyfin. There might already be something out there somewhere that can do this...
